BUYERS

How
do I add or delete a picture to my RFQ?
Pictures can be added when an RFQ is created, when a bid is
placed or when a classified ad is posted. Pictures can also
be added or deleted by editing the RFQ or bid. Pictures in the
classified ads can only be added or deleted before the transaction
takes place. Once the classified ad has been placed, your credit
card is billed and the ad or photo cannot be changed.
What
is a bid?
A bid is what a seller provides a buyer in response to the buyer’s
request for a quote (RFQ).

the RFQ will expire.

will appear by your quote request. Click this symbol to
view and answer the question.

SELLERS
How does site work?
The site works by enabling you to see job opportunities posted
by brides and grooms, then respond by placing a bid or asking
a question. See How do I start?.
What
does RFQ stand for?
Request For Quote (RFQ)
What
is a bid?
A bid is what a seller provides a buyer in response to the buyer’s
request for a quote (RFQ).
How
do I register?
Click “Sign Up Now”
or “Register”
from the homepage and follow the steps.
How
does the Enhanced Seller's Profile work?
By signing up for the “Enhanced Seller’s Profile”,
a buyer will see your logo adjacent to your bid when viewing
the list of all bids on that RFQ. If you uploaded a logo
and entered a web address, then your logo will be a hyperlink
to that website. If you uploaded a logo and no website,
the logo will be a static photo next to your bid. If you
entered a web address, but didn’t upload a photo, “Visit
Our Website!” will appear next to your bid. This
text will be a hyperlink to that website. The Enhanced Seller’s
Profile is an optional service. Click example
to see how this feature looks.
How
do I view new RFQ's to bid on?
New RFQ's are displayed
upon login. These are RFQs you have not yet bid on.
If you are on a different screen and want to view these new
RFQs again, click on "Open RFQs" in the "Seller
Tools" box on the left margin.
How
does Question feature work?
The question feature allows seller to ask buyer questions before
placing a bid. It allows seller to get clarification on the
request if needed. It also enables the buyer to ask you questions
about your bid after it’s submitted. Caution:
the buyer may choose to respond to your question publicly. This
means the buyer’s answer to your question may be seen
by other sellers if the buyer chooses. This allows the
buyer to respond once to the same question that multiple sellers
are asking. When you are asked a question, a blue question
mark symbol will appear by your bid. Click this symbol
to view and answer the question.
Example:
A buyer forgets to
say in the RFQ how many people the wedding cake needs to feed.
All the wedding cake sellers are asking this question so they
can submit an accurate bid. If there are 20 sellers, a
buyer can answer the question once, rather than 20 times, and
all sellers can see the answer.
How
do I place a bid?
Click on the new RFQ
that you'd like to bid on. This displays the entire text
and attached pictures of the buyer's quote request. Scroll
to the bottom of the page and select "Place Bid".
This takes you to a form where you enter your bid. Click
"Submit" to send your bid to the buyer.
What
is “Discount”?
For some businesses, placing a bid is not easy due to the nature
of the product or service. However you want to attract customers
to select you rather than your competitor. Therefore, you may
choose to offer discounts. Examples include, “5% off if
purchased within 7 days” or “10% off if paid in
advance” or “15% off if purchase total is greater
than $500”. You may offer anything you want.
If you choose not to offer a discount, simply enter “None”.
How
do I add or delete a photo?
Pictures can be added when an RFQ is created, a bid is placed
or a classified ad is posted. Pictures can added or deleted
by editing the RFQ or bid. Pictures in the classified ads can
only be added or deleted before the transaction takes place.
Once the classified ad has been placed, your credit card is
billed and the ad or photo cannot be changed.
How
do I view RFQs that I've already bid on.
RFQs that you've already
placed bids on can be viewed by clicking on "My Bids"
in the Seller Tools" box on the left margin.
What
happens if my bid is accepted?
If the buyer selects your bid, a link will appear in your "My
Bids" screen by your bid. The link says, "Click
here to view the Buyer's contact information". Clicking
this link will provide you the buyer's name, phone number and
email address. This will also be emailed to you.
How
do I contact the buyer?
You can contact the
buyer by clicking the "Question" button located on
the bidding or RFQ screens. Otherwise, the buyer’s
contact information is confidential unless he/she selects your
bid.
Do
I have to place a bid amount?
No. When responding to a buyer’s RFQ, you do not need
to place a bid amount or quote actual dollars. You do however
need to fill in either the “Bid” or “Discount”
sections of the bidding form. If you do not want to quote
a dollar amount for the bid or a discount fields, just write
“None” in these boxes. Keep in mind the buyer
is expecting some kind of offer from the sellers responding
to their RFQ. This is one way they will be making decisions.
What
if my bid isn’t accepted?
The RFQ will eventually expire. You will have the ability to
delete that RFQ from your “Open Bids” list to clear
space.
Does
buyer need to accept a bid?
No. The buyer does not need to accept any bid or contact any
seller.
Can
I see bids from other sellers?
No. Sellers
do not have visibility to bids from other sellers.
How
does the feedback rating system work?
Buyers can click on
“View/Write Feedback” to see feedback on sellers
from previous buyers. Buyers may rate a seller bidding
on their RFQ. Buyers may rate each seller only once irregardless
of how many RFQs that seller responds to from that buyer.
Scoring is limited to positive, neutral or negative. Buyer
may write comments and Seller may respond. Seller's response
will be attached to Buyer's comment and score. Buyer may
ediit score and comments after submitting them. Seller
can reply again if buyer edits. Sellers can view their
feedback by selecting the “My Feedback” link from
the "Seller Tools" box on the left margin.
Can

to place an ad.
